Estados Unidos implementa nuevas medidas y mejoras al programa de visas H-1B

 

El Servicio de Ciudadanía e Inmigración de Estados Unidos anunció el 30 de enero una regla final para fortalecer la integridad y reducir el potencial de fraude en el proceso de registro H-1B, incluso reduciendo el potencial de intervenir con el sistema de registro y garantizar que cada beneficiario tenga las mismas posibilidades de ser seleccionado, independientemente del número de registros presentados en su nombre. USCIS también anunció:

• Las fechas para el período de registro inicial H-1B para visas H-1B sujetas a la cantidad máxima reglamentaria del año fiscal 2025
• El lanzamiento de la presentación en línea del Formulario I-129, Petición para Trabajador No Inmigrante
• El lanzamiento de la presentación en línea del Formulario I-907, Solicitud de Procesamiento Prioritario, para peticionarios H-1B.

Estados Unidos reactiva emisión de visas J-1, H-1B, H-2B y L-1

 

El 1 de octubre de 2020, un tribunal de distrito federal en la Asociación Nacional de Fabricantes contra el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional (NAM) ordenó al gobierno hacer cumplir la sección 2 de la Proclamación Presidencial (PP) 10052 contra los demandantes nombrados y los miembros de las asociaciones de demandantes.

Los demandantes nombrados incluyen:

• La Asociación Nacional de Fabricantes
• La Cámara de Comercio de Estados Unidos
• La Federación Nacional de Minoristas
• TechNet
• Intrax, Inc.

Por lo tanto, cualquier solicitante J-1, H-1B, H-2B o L-1 que es patrocinado (como visitante de intercambio) por, o solicitado por, o cuyo peticionario es miembro de una de las organizaciones mencionadas anteriormente ya no está sujeto a las restricciones de entrada de proclamación presidencial 10052.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and source new licensing, strategic investment and partnership opportunities within the US for Tencent Games.
• Manage and grow existing relationships with key partners
• Build senior-level relationships with game developers and publishers from the PC, mobile, and console gaming space.
• Prepare and present proposals to internal management teams.
• Negotiate contracts while working cross-functionally with internal management, finance, legal, and product teams.
• Travel, as necessary, to both US and international locations, as a representative of Tencent Games.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for gaming!
• BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in business development or corporate development with recent years in the mobile gaming industry
• Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
• Passionate, committed, self-starter with high level of initiative, energy, ownership, and urgency, with a sincerely willingness to learn from global team members at all levels
• Team player with outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable with handling ambiguity and collaborating across different functional teams and departments
• Very strategic, but not afraid to roll up his/her sleeves and do the tactical work
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities
